After long awaited three day weekend, I received some sweeeeeet supplies from JennifersJewels & SweetSide, two etsy users (with the same name) that I just love! I can actually SEW now! :)

This is the first time I've created pouches with colorful interiors.

I really need to get something to hold my threads and spools. It's such a mess these days.

On a badder note:
Trying to stay positive, especially after what happened tonight.
I was driving across an intersection, where I had the protected green arrow to go straight (the left turners on the opposite side had already had their 'left on left green arrow only' turn)

But no, some guy decided to run the red light, pretty much straight into the side of my car. Thankfully I wasn' t that tired yet (it was at 11pm), and had a fast enough reaction time to speed up.

Really bothersome. I'm the type of person who over-thinks situations. :( I am hoping to get some sleep tonight but I know it's going to be on my mind.

It's 2:39am, goodnight all.

Did I ever mention that I love summer? Sleeping in until 2pm is just wonderful :)

So this week I went to Cirque Hawaii with the acrobats that do crazy death defying stunts (seriously). I was TRIPPINNG out. It was insane. After that we went to Tanaka of Tokyo, a teppanyaki restaurant that was delish! Then walked around Waikiki for a bit, then went home.

Yes she is hanging from the roof. BAD picture, I couldn't look at my screen cause I didn't wanna get caught! She's holding another person who's hanging by their neck and spinning SUPER fast. so crazy!

So I'm thinking of selling these on Etsy. What do you think? Would you purchase them yourself? I'm thinking of selling them for 4 or 5 dollars for the set of 10.

Booties

Experimentation lead me to create baby beanies. I had hoped they would fit my 5 yo cousins but they were tooooo small. So they would probably fit babies newborn/age 1/2. Then I figure I would complement them with cute little ol' booties.

After the beach.

After a long day at the beach, I have an update:
I have a new sewing desk. BIG upgrade from a tv table, to this one. It's around 3x bigger. And now I can cut on the same desk, instead of having to cut on the ground, then move to the table to sew. YAY!
So anyway, I finished those two pouches (the yellow ones) for a friend who custom ordered them as well as this John Mayer inspired pouch that I handstitched.
